Horizon Portrait Gas Fireplace

Zero Clearance – Easy Installation

Zero clearance is an industry buzz phrase that basically means that a fireplace does not need to be installed in a brick, block, Hebel or other masonry structure.

Horizon Portrait can be installed in standard traditional timber or steel stud framed walls, does not require any special innings around the internal fireplace structure.

Wall cladding around your fireplace can be completed using a range of products from standard plasterboard to Axon and other sheeting products. All the required fireproofing and insulation needed is built into the fireplace unit itself, making installation of your Horizon flexible and straightforward.

No Hearth Required

Horizon Portrait does not require a hearth or any other protective treatment to be carried out on the floor under or in front of the fireplace.

Vertical & Horizontal Flue Options

Horizon Portrait is capable of traditional vertical flue systems venting up through a roof, as well as horizontal flue designs venting out through a wall. Long flue distances can be easily achieved along with multiple flue bends with an optional Power-Flue system.

Natural & LP Gas Compatible

Specific burners are available for both Natural gas and LP (Cylinder Gas) installations.

If you are not located in a suburb where Natural gas is available, or your house does not already have other gas appliances, you can still have a Horizon gas fireplace installed in your home in most instances.

TV Above Fireplace

Yes, you can mount a TV above a Horizon fireplace! A couple of extra steps must be taken to prevent rising heat from effecting your TV, but with a little common sense, a TV above your fireplace is certainly an option.

Electronic Ignition & No Pilot Light

Unlike other gas fireplaces on the market, Horizon Portrait does not have a pilot light that runs continuously even when the fireplace is not in use. The electronic ignition system lights the pilot on demand when you want to use the fireplace.

This system also monitors gas supply and pressure and automatically shuts off the fireplace if it senses an issue.

Home Automation Compatible

Horizon Portrait is compatible with most popular home automation systems allowing you easy control of your fireplace from any room of the house or the peace of mind of being able to check if you turned it off from anywhere in the world!
